“Test Maturity Model Integration: Trends of Worldwide Test Maturity and Certifications” co-authored with Vahid Garousi (Belfast University) has been published in the March-April 2022 edition of IEEE Software.

Will be running a webinar for the Canadian TMMi Local Chapter on February, 22nd., to be organized jointly with iSQI. The webinar will discuss the TMMi model, how to use in an Agile context, TMMi assessments, the TMMi user survey, and how to get involved.

During the SQAT Bangladesh symposium on January, 15th, Erik will provide a keynote presentation. The keynote “TMMi, its importance and the results of the world-wide user survey” will especially discuss the result of the first TMMi user survey.

Will run a 2 hour TMMi webinar on December, 22nd at 3 PM (CET). This webinar will be organized by the Turkish TMMi Local Chapter under the title “Improve your testing with TMMi“. Registration is now open. See you there!!

Erik will deliver a keynote at the NISI test event (Utrecht, The Netherlands) on January, 27th under the title “The Context of Test Automation”. The event is free of charge and registration now open. See you there!!

During the Bonaire table tennis championships that took place on November, 10th, Erik has won the title in mens singles. After already winning in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2016, this was his impressive 7th title in mens singles.

During Testing Portugal Erik will run tutorial on Requirements Engineering and also deliver a TMMi-based keynote presentation. The keynote will especially discuss the results of the first TMMi world-wide survey.

Officially re-accredited as TMMi assessor by the accreditation chair of the TMMi Foundation. As a practitioner Erik is involved in test improvement projects in various domains, being an accredited TMMi assessor he has conducted many TMMi assessments.

Based on market needs a new Artificial Intelligence test certification scheme has been developed by ISTQB. The new ISTQB Certified AI Tester syllabus, including sample exam paper, is now released and fully available.
